I am so excited. I love Kara Scott. She did the Carribean one that was on TV and does an excellent job. Like the decision!

I remember when she first started in poker on Poker Night Live (a UK poker channel) and had trouble playing in $2 sng's - sure come a long way in a short space of time.

Well I must admit she is much better looking than AJ .. but i'm not sure she will be able to play the "straight guy" as well as he did. I guess we'll find out.

But as host she'll have to talk, so I'm not optimistic. Pretty girls don't have to be as witty to get by, so I don't have high hopes for her conversation skills.

yeah i posted a few weeks ago that it looked like she would get it. At first I was dissapointed AJ Benza got canned but I think Kara and Gabe will do well together.

Looks has no real impact on conversational skills and wit is always strongly tied to intelligence.

Some of the wittiest folks I know are stunningly attractive, e.g. my trophy-wife Candy (yup, that is her given name).

I, for one, am taking a wait and see attitude rather than prejudge.

She is easy on the eyes that's for sure and knows the game. So we'll see how it goes. Also it'll interesting to see how Gabe interacts with her.

I like to watch High Staks Poker but most of the stuff that come out of Gabes mouth is complet garbage

I suppose I don't really care who hosts HSP....I watch it for the action and the table personalities. That said, it won't hurt my feelings to have to see Kara Scott on screen.

I like HSP because of all the action and the great players in there, adding Kara Scott wouldn't hurt.

Yo, this is gonna be the best high stakes table ever. Especially when Lex Veldhuis is there. Can't wait to see how he run over everybody with his insane bluffs.

And I'm drooling over Kara Scott. Kara and Liv Boeree are so beautiful.

Surprising how Dennis Phillips is going to play. I'm curious how he will manage in high stakes cash game.

Can't wait to see Lex Veldhuis outplay Phil Hellmuth and piss him off. I smell ego vs ego. Lex will come out on top. I REALLY REALLY wanna see Lex induce bluffs

This is really surprising...I know it's weird but I feel bad for the guy...He seems like a good guy and I don't wanna see him lose a bunch of money to these sharks. Hopefully he's backed.
