Hi Need help on why I got a deposit in my real account.

Hi Everyone,

I had a time with my health recently so I haven't been on much, but I am doing fine for now.

I recently got a $5 deposit in my Pokerstars account much to my surprise. I don't ask or solicit funds from anyone at anytime. It is very nice and I thank whoever did it, but it says, "Vendor Credit". Did that occur from some admin sending me money or is it vaguely possible for some unknown reason that Pokerstars deposited it?

I really don't know but thanks to whoever did it, now I can play again in real and I am elated. If anyone has any idea how that happened I would appreciate your response.

Thanks to everyone for their moral support and friendship and I hope to post more articles and responses here as time goes on.

My deepest thanks,

Lonnie Royal

Sometimes pokerstars will put $5 in your account if it has been empty and inactive for a while. Check your email. They usually send one to inform you.

Have also seen several times and reasons that they will make deposits into player accounts, usually accompanied by an e-mail.

As to it being for 'prolonged inactivity', I can see it as a marketing tool of course, but it's also a lot like giving bonuses to sitters - lol. I imagine the marketing dept knows Stars will get it all back in rakes eventually anyway.

Hope you were able to parlay that into something good.

So far I have never received anything from PokerStars, but I know that Absolute was depositing $5 in my account fairly regularly. The funny part was I was ALWAYS playing on Vegas247 as it seemed I made the money a lot more often there. The best I have ever done on PokerStars was qualifiers, very rarely actually money for me so that may explain the lack of incentives on their part. Good luck to you, I hope you are able to build on it significantly.

I got a deposit like that a week or so after I open my account with them. I hadn't yet made a deposit but have since then. They sent me an e-mail explaining why and everything. If you didn't get an e-mail, it probably ended up in your bulkk or spam box, and you didn't get to read it.

I don't think Full Tilt does it. I did'nt play there for almost a year and nothing. I guess I should sign up at pokerstars and then sit out for awhile. LOL I don't think Ultimate Bet does it either. If anyone has ever gotten a bonus from Full Tilt or U.B for not playing let me know.
