HI all Hi there, I need some advice...I had 2 trnys last night (freeroll mtt) but in both of them played for 3 hours and had huge stacks..30000 in the first and 100k in the 2nd ,well when it got close to the bubble to pay off for my hard work my game like totally fell apart it seems.I thought I was playin the same way but just got killed almost at the same period on both trnys..Does this ever happen to you guys?It seems to me the software turns you off b4 u can cash.I played the best I could and still got slaughtered b4 the bubble.Should I sit out 4awhile when I get the big stack?

If you had a huge stack, I'm going to guess that you were playing very loose, aggresive up till that point. That generally won't work in the later stages of a freeroll, as players tend to tighten up, and play something that resembles real poker.

I see this so often, the big stack feels like it his job to take the other's chips. A sure road to loss. Nor should you continue to just play as before, and this advice goes against all the books that say this is the best time to make money, sure and the best time to lose. I tend to play tighter as the bubble approaches, Making the money is important, get me to the money and then I worry about moving up. And I know I'll get lots of flack about that statement.
