I was just wondering..i'm looking to play on another site rather than Tilt and Stars..Has anyone played Bodog...I'm looking forward to playing it but i just want some insight if they like the site..And Why?? Let me know thanks..

I played there for about 3 months, but could never cash on anything. They do have nice software, and a wide variety of games to choose from. Kinda like Stars does. They payout alot of there freerolls is TDS. Tourney Dollars. Dont know much about them though. Have you tried Carbon Poker yet? That is my favorite. Cake Poker is pretty good to. Well gl at bodog and at the tables.

A lot of soft players there but I still hate it. Because the play is so soft it is relatively easy to cash and It's now where my second largest bankroll is. So I do play there occasionally, but I enjoy it the least of any place I play. Bad graphics, annoying sounds, wonky software and the worst customer service I have yet encountered. In any area, not just poker rooms.

I like their freerolls - but because they are rebuys it is hard to get in the cash in them.

From an aesthetics POV I dislike bodog even though they worked hard at site improvement. Before the improvements it was faster than any other site but uglier than roadkill. Now its just ugly. Speed wise now its fine, but no longer lightning fast. But it never needed to be lightning fast.

From a practical POV Hand Histories are nigh on impossible to read, and apparently can not be saved. The chat there is better than it used to be but still weird.

You might like Carbon, Of the Cake network, or even the newly rejuvenated UB. Add that bodogs withdrawal payouts have been flaky for a long while now, and you can do better, much much better.

hey there i used to play on bodog all the time,now i just stick to tilt.
i think it is the best site i have found around.
and i have tried tons of them.
you could check out doyles room it is pretty cool.

No I have not Carbon Poker..I here it does not accept US PLAYERS..I may be wrong..But i will check it out..Take Care Thanks for the posts

I've heard where Bodog has bounced cheques in the recent past so beware if you're making deposits there.Personally I can't play at Bodog due to the ban against Canadian players.

btw, Carbon excepts US players.

I play at both Bodog and Fulltilt. I play at Bodog cause it seems like easier money. However I like Fulltilt for the amount of tourney's I can play anytime of day.
Payouts at Bodog have been SLOW through the mail... next time Ill try the moneygram that you can use with them.
I find myself using FT for more MTT's and Bigger SnG's and use Bodog more to grind out my Bankroll.
