Those books are awesome.
Someone in another thread suggested getting them at half.comm as they're pretty cheap there.

I'm not a superduper wining player.
But, I have read some suggestions from the pros.

And this one is good.

"Every books are providing good basic strategies but when you are in action, don't play after the book, instead trust your instincts and make a decision."

As great as these books are, I wouldn't start with them. Read Phil Gordon's LITTLE GREEN BOOK, or any of several by Tom McEvoy. This will get you good basic grasp of general game theory. Then read HoH, all three volumes. Then read 'em again, they're that good.

Book that has improved my game most has been Killer Poker Online - specifically the chapter on heads up (which I particularly enjoy). totally changed my view on heads up play.

agree with others too - harrington series are great.

Thanks yet again AG, I have just ordered :
1. Getting Started in Holdem by Ed Miller
2. Little Green Book, by Phil Gordon

Been struggling a little with Super System, which you don't recommend as a first book anyway, but no doubt I'll return to it later.
