HEM Table Scanner

I believe the Table Scanner option is free right now to try out, with 1.08 Beta 28 ... and I am using it for the first time right now. So far it looks super slick. I couldn't find any official breakdown on it at the HEM site ... so here is my breakdown ...

- Scans Party / Full Tilt / Absolute / iPoker / Pokerstars

- TONS of ways to filter through the tables to get down to a list of tables you exactly want to sit at (filter out shortstackers or regs or whatever!!!)

- From inside HEM you can see a table you like (for Stars) and either hit the OPEN or JOIN button next to it and the program will access PokerStars and open up the table for you, removing the need to hunt down the table in the long list inside the Stars client software

- Search from either the Client site (your computer, takes forever) or the server side (much faster ... possibly against the TOS at stars???)

The Rating/Scoring system doesnt seem to be working yet, but at least you can filter down to tables you like (HU / 6m / FR) and insta-join them. Anyone else try this out???

Is this one of those deals again where you get to test it out before the general public ? Like with the tourney support ?

Cause I can't access it.

edit: I see you are running the latest beta, 28b ? I was only running beta 22, installing the new one now.

Wow it looks really good.
Have to fiddle with it some more tomorrow but after spending 5 minutes with it, it's already 100x better than the tilt lobby

I must be doing something wrong because I can't get any tables to show up once I hit scan.

Edit: I figured out how to get it to work, but the client side scanning is slow that it isn't even worth it. It won't even let me join the tables once the scanning is done.

I've been using it for the last week or so, and yea its super slick.

I do think that it will be added to the list of banned programmes on Stars and Tilt at least, and imo warrented. I really am against things like this that help the fish go broke easier.

Haven't used it yet but from the sounds of it god I hope so

PT3 has had this as a pay by month option for about a year now

I doubt it, since it only uses your db. PT3's Table Tracker has been out for a year and it's still allowed. As long as there is no central db I don't see Stars or Tilt banning it.

nope mine doesnt like working scans all the tables and when i click join/open it scans all the tables but doesnt open or join any just scans from top to bottom

any thoughts?

Well if it does the same thing as Telescope (which scans the lobby's), then that's allowed so it shouldn't be a problem. I have yet to test the HEM tables scanner though. I mean as long as it's not datamining, then no problem.

I dont think there'll be any reason for it to be banned.

For one if you put "Server Side" it just scanns the lobbies from the server computer ... then it grabs the data from your own DB. Seems fair and fun to use.

Have you guys used the regulars option ?
I added one reg yesterday, it used the stats from my DB on him so it def recognized him, and two more today.

But when I close HEM the next time I use it the list is empty

Tried, never got it to work.

Got a programming error, then with FT on client side, I could watch it chug through the tables, but it never came up with anything. With Stars on client side it looked at the first 4 tables and stopped. With server side nada.

Will make more attempts next session.

sounds like we have the same problem ninelions, does it just scan through the tables and then just not pick up any tables or open any tables?

Anybody any ideas??
