Help Me Manage My Bankroll Recently I freerolled up to about 250$, and ever since I have been up and down between 200-300. Currently I have 225$, and am on a TERRIBLE streak of beats. Like a ridiculous, can't hold with any hand, losing AA vs A/rag, getting 5%erd in critical moments, streak. But I know that if I can manage my bankroll I'll get through the variance. Now I am aware of the general rules, although I wouldn't mind if someone would state them in specific amounts. What I do want to know is this: What stakes should I be playing for cash tables, and should I be short-stacking or what? What stakes sit n gos should I be playing for 6 man, super turbos, and in general? What stakes MTTs should I be playing for super turbos, rebuys, and in general? Thanks!

If I were you, I'd be playing 5nl, $5 SnG, or $2 HUSnGs. Much lower and I'd be doing $2 SnGs. I like a pretty deep cushion when I'm running bad. You should play whichever one you're winning the most or losing the least at. I find that I'm usually better at one of those three, and it changes from time to time, probably due to subtle shifts in how I play that I'm not good enough to notice yet. I'm no help on turbos, super turbos, or MTTs. I don't enjoy the turbos and the MTTs just take too long. RF

Jesus says... Try checking out Chris Fergusons video in the Full-Tilt academy lessons, I found this to be most informative, I believe that Phil Gordon also has a vid regarding this subject. Both have their own arguments but both worth a look.
