Heads up vs a Pro

Maybe not the smartest idea I've ever pulled off, I sat at 10/20 heads-up with professional poker player johnny phan. He had people railing him and stuff and then he got mad when someone said something like "hey phan ...." said he didnt want people to know but too late now. Came out 250 dollars ahead, i sorta pulled a hit and run but it sure wasnt luck, I picked off at least 3 pure bluff attempts, He was definately trying to run me over, raising and re-raising with air. He 3bet before the flop alot with Ace/rag. Now not saying im better or anything because im not even close, but I at least held my own.

Heres a few hands between us:

the guy was sooooooo aggressive, I felt I had to "pay off" these river bets in decent sized pots just because I knew there was a good chance he had Ace high or something. It was fun though.

My initial thoughts to this was...who the hell is johnny phan? Then I looked him up...and my thoughts were....still...who the hell is john phan. . ?

I wouldn't rank him even close to the top in the pros...IMO he's just good at being a big bully in tournaments and taking good shots...to me, he's half a Hellmuth. He made 5 final tables ...blah blah...cardplayer points leader in/during '05. . . He'll only get better...of course...lets see how he does at the world series where everyone's a donk or bully...

Some pretty strong opinions considering you don't even know who he is. He's a real pro.

dorkus he's not a donk... you would be surprised how many weak-tight players there are that u can just literally just run over. He was trying to see If I could be moved off a hand. I really considered folding there because I put him on the 10 and then the other one came and I was counterfeited, but I knew he had already tried to move me off a few hands and I wanted to show him I won't be bullied
