never played it, something I have been trying to find some advice out about it

the hands and blinds come a lot quicker so its a faster way to lose money ;]

its fast but its easier to rationalize A/6 being a good hand. normally i wouldnt play that trash. depending on suit / position of course

I have no enjoyment in heads up play. Rather sit at a full table.

i generally agree. heads up is too 50/50 for me. its a big chance. i never understand how people sit 50 buy in...unless you are sure you can take the other person

Heads Up is probably my weakness especuially in SnG's. Unless I have a chip lead or down in chips then I'm bad. I'm good on a short stack or on a large stack, anything inbetween is a pain.

heads up is definitely more time consuming and dangerous...the other day i was looking at tourneys and saw a heads up had been running for 5 hours so i checked it and like 20 ppl were still in...i dunno about you but 5 hours seems a long time to grind away at 1v1...at least full tables you can take breaks between hands or go afk without losing substantial amounts of chips

Yea pokerstars has this ive played one before. Its basically rounds of heads up between 2 people untill 2 people are left in the whole tournament. This usually gets boring because once u finish your round you have to wait awhile for the others to finish. I wouldnt reccoment playing this.

I like the heads up at Royal Vegas, it's pretty easy way to win some money, but occasionally you'll get an idiot who decides to go all-in every hand and when you finally get a hand to knock them out, of course they get lucky and your out a few dollars, o'well

I have played heads up poker. Days I like it other days I don't. Some people are "complete asses," but you have to deal with it. It seems like i just keeps going back and forth FOREVER!!!!!!!!

heads up is very challenging in the fact that you really have time to get to know your opponent and then you need to focus on things like betting patterns and such to consistently win. I think heads up is one of the most challenging forms of poker and one of the most fun

I love playing heads up. If you are a better player, you can get a big advantage. If you are playing someone who folds too much, it is big money maker.

i find tht playing with a full table much better than heads up play, however when playing in weekly home games theres always two people heads up by the end of the night, as for me i hardly have any luck playing heads therefore i dont win much.

HEADS UP POKER IS ALMOST ALL THAT I PLAY (well at least as far as real money ring tables go). I love it and I think it is a very easy way to win money. Occasionally (well actually pretty often), I run into real jerks that play reckless, but it is fine if I win their money. At PokerStars, they have $0.02/$0.04 1-on-1 Fixed Limit Holdem tables (and no limit tables too). Well, I play there all the time and it is GREAT.

It is a nice change, you need to see the flop, even poorer cards can win. Don't be shy and muck losers into a bet or raise, DO NOT CHASE it will kill you. lol

I have done quite well at heads up, gg all!
