Stopped today after 50 matches, so I am half way done with my challenge. I am tempted to just stop now, because it is really kinda boring just playing HU sngs. The whole purpose of this challenge was to test the profitability of HU sngs and so far: Yes they are profitable, but man they sure are boring. I have ran into all different types of opponents through my first 50. These opponents ranged from micro stake grinders to donks like this: Seat 1: Edelweiß 65 (1320 in chips) Seat 2: jordanbillie (1680 in chips) jordanbillie: posts small blind 5 Edelweiß 65: posts big blind 10 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to jordanbillie [8c Qc 7d Kh] jordanbillie: raises 20 to 30 Edelweiß 65: calls 20 *** FLOP *** [2c Ac Jc] Edelweiß 65: checks jordanbillie: bets 60 Edelweiß 65: calls 60 *** TURN *** [2c Ac Jc] 5♣ Edelweiß 65: bets 180 jordanbillie: raises 540 to 720 Edelweiß 65: raises 510 to 1230 and is all-in jordanbillie: calls 510 *** RIVER *** [2c Ac Jc 5c] K♦ *** SHOW DOWN *** Edelweiß 65: shows [2h Qd Th Kc] (a straight, Ten to Ace) jordanbillie: shows [8c Qc 7d Kh] (a flush, Ace high) My opponent thought he had the King high flush with his Kc in his hand. (seriously, he typed it in the chat). I have had 1 or 2 handed matches and I have also had 45 minute to 1 hour tight as trying to get shucked corn into a thin plastic bag matches. I have really developed a solid PLO HU game that has adapted throught my first 50 and also within the matches themselves. Here are my stats: Today 8 wins - 4 losses Profit: $5.60 Total (50 matches) 31 wins - 19 losses Total Profit: $14.00 even So I am on pace for 62 wins - 38 losses and a $28 profit over 100 matches. I want to do better than that. I want to be at 70 and 30 by the end, so I have to go 39 and 11 in the 2nd half.

Last couple of days have been great! May 9th played 1 match and won. +$1.80 May 10th played 1 match and won. +1.80 Got home from work this morning at 5am and decided to play a match while eating a snack. I waited for 5 min in a $2 hu match and nobody came, but a guy was registered for a $5 match waiting for an opponent. I decided to play at the $5 table. I won the first match rather easily and was trying to type in the chat "gg" and when I hit enter it accepted the rematch for the game. I was forced to play him again. The 2nd match took 55 minutes to play! I was all the way down to 235 chips and kept battling to almost even and then I would get knocked down again. I ended up winning the match in the end so over the last 3 days... 4 wins - 0 losses Profit: $13.10 Total (59 matches) 38 wins - 21 losses Profit: $28.10

Really sat down and crunched out the remaining HU sngs. I have finished all 100 and man, they really are a grind. My initial question was if they were profitable and they are... Total (100 matches) 64 wins - 36 losses Profit: $41.90 Overall I had $226.10 of buyins with $268 of winnings. If I did the math right that would be an 18.5% ROI over the 100 matches, which is below my normal ROI on other sng games. I had fun and I will take the $42, now it is back to 9 and 90 person sngs with some PLO ring mixed in.
