Have you noticed any of the poker rooms are losing their appeal??? Hi guys. I play Pokerstars, Party and Ladbrokes and have notices some of the sites seem to be getting smaller fields. Could this be after the normal boom when there is a new fad that some people have had enough? What have you guys noticed? Any of the sites got better/ worse? For me the site I noticed seems to be getting smaller fields if Party and from time to time Laddies - Pokerstars seems to be as strong as ever. Thoughts guys???

U.S. ban is forcing U.S. players to use alternate banking methods that leave allot to be desired. Seems easy to get money there, but hard to get it back. Poker Stars offered pay tru card to U.S. players, and seems to work nicely. Majority of U.S. players went there, like it or not.

Ron, I know of some places on the net where you can get statistical analysis of the poker networks` traffic. Can`t post the links here because of forum rules, but I have just been wading through numbers relating to the 3 sites you mention. My conclusion is that traffic in the past month is down about 10% to 15% as compared with the annual highs, and this is pretty consistent across all 3 sites. Although that tends to support your observation, I`d guess it could well be a seasonal variation rather than a sign of anything wrong. Presumably there are more players on cold winter nights. With respect to our American friends, it`s fairly widely accepted that UIGEA made only a short-term impact on the industry and the gap has now been filled by new players from Europe and the Far East. Most sites are now back to pre-ban levels of traffic or better.
