Have you ever had this happen to you ?

I sat down at a gathering Sit n Go at Bodog and the guy on my right said in the chat box something like :

"Damn, it`s Egon Towst. This guy`s a shark, and he`s on my left. I`m screwed."

and right through the early levels, they all folded like a row of dominoes every time I bet. Couldn`t get any action at all.

It was annoying to say the least. To cap it all, I`m not that good, for heaven`s sake. I`m certain there`s better players than me on this forum.

How would you handle this, guys ?

Well, it sounds like it was a good thing if they kept folding to you when the blinds got very big. Sure, it might not be fun in the beginning when you have aces and get no action.

Easy!

I would turn into a bully, and show every bluff...

That would help balance out the *ACK FOLD TO HIM* thing

gotta make adjustments to work with the people you are playing.

Thanks, friend. That`s a really good idea, wish I`d thought of it at the time. Normally I have "Auto-muck" checked and I never show, but I can see how it would have riled them and livened up the table in this instance.

No problem. I've started having to use this tactic against super tight sit and go tables. Not only does it loosen them up a bit, it puts a few on tilt when they see they folded the winning hand and chunks of their chips away.
