Harrington on online cash games I have searched and only threads I see have someone who read half of it and someone else saying to search. So if anyone has read the whole book or has a link to someone who has, could they share their opinion on it? Will it help out my 6max play if I suck? Just curious as I just ordered it from the FT store a couple of weeks ago and I am kind of excited to get it. It will be my first poker book since the HOH series and my very first cash game book.

I seen on someone else post a few month back that Harrington's on online cash game was not a very formal book. I never read it myself, but a few guys who posted about it said it was not very good compare to other cash game books. Some were saying it was his worst book, I think if I remember clearly. I read Harrington others books, so maybe they're wrong. Well, I hope that helps a little.

re: Harrington on online cash games poker I received the book and read it. Personally, I found it helpful. The problem is all the info is right here in this forum and in the strategy articles. It's like he copied and pasted info from 2+2 forum. It's funny seeing Action Dan using all the online lingo too. It's also nice to see him fit everything into one book this time. The thing I like about though is that it is a book. I don't have to stare at a screen or print out pages and try to put them in order. For some reason when I read his books I absorb more info. It is an excellent book for someone just starting out, although you could get most of this info(even more updated) in this forum. No way would I recommend anyone spend full retail on this book($39.95). I got it with FT points and it cost me about $8 rakeback. Well worth it IMO.

I have to agree that more useful information can be found in the posts and strategy articles in this and other forums. Online cash games are unique in my opinion due to the number of tables you can play at one time and the unique nature of each poker site. I think the forums deal with these issues a lot better. Holdem is holdem, but the betting strategies decide if you win or lose. Last edited by jazzaxe : 15th November 2010 at 6:24 PM. Reason: Words

i have the book and it does has some good info on it, there are alot of things that i do disagree on in the book. But alot of thinks that I use too in the book. it does shows how to build a hub what to have within the hub, range ranges for both micro games and small , how to raise, how to use VP$ hand ranges and other stuff. In my cent on this I would go with the other cash books that he has then the online on. it's alot more detailed
