| Hand ranges Against a 9 handed unknown table cash game, what should my hand range be when I'm in the: Small blind Button Cut off High jack Utg +3 utg+2 utg +1 utg ( presuming everybody previously folded ) so no limpets or raises.. The only mathematically correct play I know (hand ranges) is q7 in the small blind will be good half the time. |

| Q/7 will not be good half the time in the SB. What stakes? Live or online? Ditch that Q7 as fast as possible IMO.... An unknown table is only unknown for a few hands so dont worry about "unknown" ranges. Pay attention and "know" ya know?? |
