Good poker weekend peeps?

Had a pretty good weekend as far as the tourneys go.

Played in the $5,000 guaranteed for $10+1 on Ladbrokes on Saturday night. Was a huge chip leader with about 40 ppl left, I was on 81,000, 2nd was 48,000.

Had a run of bad cards but managed to squeeze on final table with about 20,000 left. Went all in post-flop with one caller. He showed 10-Q, I show J-Q with the flop 4-10-J. Turn hits a 10 to bust me out. Won $60 but was a bit gutted to be out so quick after hitting the final table

Played same tourney last night. I am sitting in 12th, well stacked on 90,000 chips, in about 6th place. I get dealt QQ, I am first to act from BB. I raise 32,000, blind are 8,000-4,000. Guy goes all in with 120,000. I felt comfortable going all-in, especially with my 32,000 already invested! He shows A K and hits a K on the flop to burn my QQ. I go out winning $67 but kinda gutted that I went out both night in good position both times

So am up over $100 for the weekend. How did the rest of you guys do?

Won a freeroll for the first time. Final table in another Top 5 in each freeroll go into a weekly freeroll worth 1000 bucks. Clicked wrong button and went out at 80th which sucked.

Up 11 dollars overall which I then lost at the ring tables after silly betting

Good going Colin. Sounds like your day is not too far away.

I got busted out of a 20+2 rebuy at Party holding QQ with 2500 chips (about 1 hour & 10 mins in). 5th position 1 raised 600 to go when the blinds were at 50/100. Button (5500 chips) raises 1200 so I go all in. He takes ages before calling but dutifully turns over AK suited.

Flop comes AKJ, then J8.

Not too hopeful after the flop (a big understatement) but at least I had a 6 outer as a 10 would have given me a str8.

Had been playing very tight up until then only playin premium hands and un-raised BBs. The blinds were really starting to have an affect and the average was about 3000.

Given the circumstances, I'd definitely make the same play again.

I didn't look properly when registering because I HATE re-buy tourneys. Some people bought 5 x my buy-in equity and for me, this is, well...unequitable!

Good going -2222-. Them ladies can get us into serious trouble!

Yeah re-buys do me in too but it does really stump up the prize money if you can hit a few hands early. I have won a tourney without re-buying before

I would also make the same move again. I mean QQ, 7 ppl at table, large blinds? I went to bed satisfied knowing I got beat fairly. I got lucky mid tourney when all-in as well, I showed A 10, he A K and I hit the straight on the river
