Going to a casino for the first time this evening. Any casino/obvious tells tips?
My friend went last week and told me this about the tournament:
$20 rebuy $30 buy in with double stack $20 add on Had 45 people Top 10 paid! winner got $1600 SB shuffles, BB cuts deck, dealer deals! So it sounds like there are a lot of rebuys. Obviously I will buy in with a double stack, but any experienced tips on general table issues that usually come round with newcomers, and any obvious tells? I do play home games but I've played with them for so long everyone just knows everyones game already. |

Thats kinda weird that the dealer doesnt just deal, what if the SB sucks at shuffling (is possible, seen it)...
like I trust the dealer to do their job, dont see why 2 players need to do some of the work. |

I'm assuming it will be like a lot of tournaments in smaller casino's which i've played in. These are normally self dealt until the final table where you get a dedicated dealer. So they do that method so the dealer cannot cheat as easily.

Some people will feign indecision when they hold a monster, others will be genuinely indecisive. At that buyin and with that much rebuy action going on, I would expect to see a lot of LAG action. I wish you good cards and hope you come home a winner. |
