Getting tired

I recently quit during a game because I wasnt feeling good about my game play. Is it just me or do others do this too?

I normally dont quit the game altogether, but its not uncommon for me to take an extended break. Although I have a game before where it was just wayyyy too late and I was waaayyyy too far behind

I have never quit during a game, but I do take a break from playing every now and again.

The feeling you're having is pretty much normal. You're not going to win every game nor play a great game every time. So this is a common feeling. I have never just quit in the middle of a game but I have felt that there was no way I was going to win and just went all-in but that was a break in my game cause I was able to do that 3 hands in a row and gain mental strength to play on. So if you continue to feel this way for a long period of time then maybe its time to take a break.

yea i agree if i get to the point where i feel i want to quit i just go all in to either double or tripple my chips or just loose anyway

I fell asleep one time while ITM in the DD. I had to work at like 6 am or something and it was like already 2 am or so.. I was falling asleep playing so I just let myself fall asleep. I was close to chip leader too. It was when I first started playing and didn't realize how long the DD took lol.

Unfortunately for me, my back starts to ache if I sit down at the puter too long. So I have to choose my games wisely.

I quit all the time,specially if I get sleepy,or something else needing my attention....so dont worry about it.

Normally I play on Red Bull and a good supply of dexies and meth, so I always feel good and never quit...

I'm way to cheap to quit during a middle of a game, but I have doze off and woken with half my chips gone, so I dont play late no more

@OP - Since your post in not specific tourny or ring, I am guessing ring. Quitting in a tourney would make no sense at all, sure, it may happen (although I cant see why, unless you have to puke or get an emergency call or fall asleep), but shouldnt become any kind of a habit. If you are not feeling or playing well, I can imagine quitting a ring game is total +ev.

Well that depends on what type of game it is. I don't often quit in the middle of a tournament or sng, lol.
