Getting a Royal Flush? I've watch some videos in You Tube about poker who gets the Royal Flush, and it's so unbelievable getting that on a hand. Me, I never get a Royal Flush since I started playing poker. I'm not even close to a Straight Flush. My biggest hand that I got is a Four of a kind King. I also got a Four of a kind 10 in online poker. Not good enough right? People out there!! Who already experience having a Royal Flush? I salute you. If I get this Royal Flush on my hand sometime, I wish all my opponents calls the All IN. hahaha

I've never got a royal flulsh either but I have got a straight flush. (7hi diamonds) It would be amazing to come up against a few good hands if you ever hit a royaler. I think I'd find it hard to figure out how much to bet, I'd prob check first to induce betting.

It may be the right move to raise depending on the opponent. If you do raise that amount he will never put him on that hand. The opponent may have been someone that when they put a bet in they have something. So by putting a nice raise in the player would be representing a good hand but not the nuts. Q high straight flush is highest hand I have ever had.

re: Getting a Royal Flush? poker Don't Worry if you haven't had one. My best hand has been 4 Aces, 4 Jacks,4 2s and one other set of quads that I don't remember. Straight Flush is 1 in 70,000 and royal flush like 1 in 700,000. You have more chance of dying in a car crash then getting a royal flush Sorry for the morbid example.

Best posibile RF: U got Ad, 4c blind r big, so u just call before the flop, and 1 of the oponents has As, 9d, so he calls also. Flop: 10d,Qd,Jd. So he has SF open waiting 8d or Kd... And than from heaven Kd is falling... raising and reraising and calling and folding and showdown, he thinks he has it all, but... Me personaly, never got 1.

re: Getting a Royal Flush? poker I got a royal a few years ago online in tournament play. Me and another player had been betting up at every street and when the JH fell on the river I typed in the chat that he should fold because i hit the Royal Flush. I pushed about 50000 all in and he called with about 45000 after typing "yeah right" I finished in the money in that tourney and wrote to Full Tilt. They sent me a Tournament Poker Strategy book autographed by some never heard of staff member. I've also gotten MANY str8 flushes including THREE in one night playing live about 2 months ago...Talk about cleaning up, i made a metric sh*t-ton that night!!!

Yes I have actually had one royal flush in live poker, against a small cash game which my friends and I have once in a blue moon. Everyone was just going wild about my royal flush, since it has never happened to any of us. Also, i got one in online poker. I did not win many chips, i have gotten a couple straight flushes online also. I folded one royal flush online. AKQ was the flop all hearts, it was very late in a tournament and I wanted to cash, so i folded my 10of heart and 8 of spade. 3 players went all-in, the next card was the J of heart, which would have made my royal flush. GOOD LUCK on your royal flush.

Have had two royal flushes in my life...But my favorite hand ever was when I flopped a straight flush against two players, one with an A high flush, and one with a K high flush...Nine cards between three players, all spades, never seen anything like it before or after. Didn't take much to get there chips in the pot, though I kind of felt a little badly for them, they really had no chance to avoid going broke.

re: Getting a Royal Flush? poker It was in a freeroll on PS. Too bad it wasn't in a money game, but it was fun just the same. Now if I could only hit one in Vegas! I just tried posting a screen capture into the gallery. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it is "mod-approved." Fig

I wouldnt fret over the Royal Flush thing...it really isn't that big a deal. I have had prolly 10 or a couple more (almost all in cash ring games). For the most part, when you get a royal, the way it comes you are not likely to make a big hand (profit wise). It is not hidden well....and you already have the nut flush which is pretty powerful. The one big hand I did get with it was when my Royal Flush Card made my opponent Qs Full on the river in a 15/30 Limit Live Cash Game...and preflop there were 6 callers....That hand was years ago and I still have vivid memories. But that type of action is one in a million. Also, when I was building up an online roll without depositing when I first started online, a Royal Flush in a .25/.50 Pot Limit game earned me a $30 Site Bonus which helped me build my roll from $10 and after that I never looked back. Funny Thing--The absolute best time a Royal came when I was playing is actually when my opponent caught the Royal Flush on the river after I had flopped AA and Held AA. The local club here had a $25K jackpot at the time and I took away $12,500 for the 2nd place Quad Aces. So, don't feel bad if you don't get it too often...when you do the feeling will almost always pass quickly.

I have caught two Royals online the first one was a waste I was in a freeroll and only took out the short stack. But the second was sweet I took out to other stacks in a decent cash game. I never have caught one live though that would be the ultimate.
