| Fuzzy notion 1-2 card poker?!?!?!? All this is pre flop. Generally a holdem thing, but real important in stud games and especially any H/L game, the concepts are the same. I have this 'Fuzzy' notion that there are players, often newbs, but just as often experienced players who seem overly willing to play a single card (preflop) style of poker. Usually A-crap and seem happy to take this to the river. It boggles my mind, especially when my big pair misses and their crap card trips up. So I ask, especially to you who care, do you play a 1 card preflop game or not? 2 card (pf) would entail pp's and connectors (not even necessarily suited). 1 card (pf) would mostly be A-crap (crap here being unconnectable, so A-T is connectable, and A-9 is crap, Also A-x sooted is 2 card and unsooted is 1 card). In general I'm a 2 card guy, with occasional feels about a 1 card hand, but where do you fit? |
