Fulltilt or Pokerstars?

Pros and Cons please?
Never really played anywhere only pokerstars but starting to like the look and feel of Full Tilt, seems quite soft, Mtts look very good there with not thousands of players entering, plus i see 8$ 180 mans which would be perfect for my bankroll.
I think i'm just bored of all pokerstars games maybe i should cash out and move?

Why not join FT and experience it yourself? Try the freerolls and see whether u like the experience.
I like FT but I feel you cant go wrong on either ( I played on both).Again, try it yourself.

Just depends on what you like to be honest. If you like smaller tournaments, FT. If you like larger tournaments with bigger prize pools, PokerStars. I cant speak much for cash games on either site, because I am only a tourney player. The one thing that I do like better about FT is the sng's. It just seems there is more of a variety for smaller buy-ins. I peronally play on both sites, when I actually have a bankroll my money will transfer between the two of them regularly

Cons:
Full Tilt has more rake and buy in fees....

PokerStars notes are harder to visualy see if you have taken notes before....

Full Tilt sngs take longer to fill than PokerStars.....

Pros:

Promotions.....Full Tilt has the Iron Man Challenge

Fulltilt notes are visually better, colored markers...

Pokerstars has less of a rake and buyin fee

Pokerstars sngs fill faster

..Ill think of more later

I really don't know why anyone plays at fulltilt. Especially if they are low stakes players. Maybe Ive just had an unlucky experience with them, but Ive had soooooo many problems its just unreal.

A good example was yesterday. I tried all day to make a $$ transfer to another player. It wouldn't work, so I email support. They reply to me 24 hours later (which is extremely extremely fast for FT, Ive waited over a week on many occasions) saying I haven't even tried to make any transfers. I was clearly trying all day.

That's the last of that pathetic cartoony site for me, Ive uninstalled it from my system.
Ive said it before and ill say it again, I have more respect for cake poker and I have no idea how a site like fulltilt has got so popular.
Ill say this again also, Stars is a gazillion times better overall than fulltilt will ever be.

couldnt have put this any better
maybe im a little biased because of the chat ban that i received but i really hate Full Tilt Poker altho i still play there (occassionally)
coincidentally, i had some problems with transfers as well,i was sending someone some moneys as part of an agreement and well the money minused from my account and it was no longer processing, but nothing in past transactions and the other person didnt recieve their funds *sigh*, in the end everything got sorted out but i mean, i dont have time for those little mistakes and errors etc
plus with all the conectivity problems last month it amazes me why we are still on there

stars for me plz

I guess I'm the opposite to the two above, i hate PokerStars, I only play at Full Tilt, I hate the whole site. The software is REALLY bad IMO on Stars, and the level of play is better on Tilt in terms of player quality, more experienced people on Tilt, which I like.

I play on both. Prefer Stars software and very few connection problems. Support replies quicker on Stars in my experience. Game selection over any 24 hour period is greater on Stars.

Gallo is right though. Before closing out one site, try FT freerolls. See if like how it plays before making a decision. Not too many people walk into a dealership and plop down all their cash before the test drive.

I play both...

I like the FT design a lot better, it's so much easier to look at in my opinion. PokerStars is so ugly.

Fulltilt is much more asthetically pleasing and easily organized. However the rakes and entry fees will certainly get you if you are a low stakes player. The cash games seem to be softer at fulltilt (low stakes). I like pokerstars for the sit and go's, much better blind structure (10 vs 6 min on fulltilt). But, really you'll have to find out for yourself. Try both and let us know what you think.

Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt is a lot better than Stars, or thats what i think. It is better becasue a lot better tournaments, and not that many donks on there (well besides the play chips tables lol). Full Tilt has Knockout tournaments, witch i dont think Stars has, or i have no seen them, and the knock out tournaments are a lot of fun, and just over all Full Tilt is better. Hope you join! See ya at the tables. GL.

They are both great

I play on both sites. Sometimes i like pokerstars more and other times i like FT more. THe SNG's are better on FT but i feel like the game play is better on stars. So it really is your preference. Also a new site i found is playersonly. They are good for small stakes cash games because there is a lot of action and generally the best hand wins. But if your an action player it is good for the cg's. I play on a bunch of sites but pokerstars and FT would have to be the two i would recommend for most people.

If you are going to play at Full Tilt, Rakeback is a must. There are several sites giving rakebak on Full Tilt. if you need a recommendation PM me as I have not had problems with a certain site.. Also stay away from Gallo6! He has been on a hot streak

Forgot my pros and cons ,
FT I like the sit n gos better for the types of games I like to play , also the MTT's are just better on FT to me ,
PokerStars is the one outer king of sites bar none IMHO , I can turn a profit there but I just don't enjoy playing there,
1 thing I do like about PokerStars is in Razz they don't shuffle the hands at showdown like they do on FT , if you play Razz you know what I mean lol , but that's not enough to get me to play there , gl

myself,i have reached a point where i wont even play at ft any more.been in there once or twice in the last 3 months, and just cant stand the bad beats and the rest of the bs.guess i need to back up a moment here, before i continue this bender.here lately, times have gotten hard, price of gas, utilities, ect.dont have the mad money for poker like i used to.so ive been reduced to free rolling of late.which in it self is fine, just something to pass time.now as i was saying before, about ft,the free rolls are ...a joke?for me its nearly impossible to play, because of all the all ins for the first 20 minuets.then once the donk fest is over ,the cards generally take a dump for the next 20 minuets.ya know 2-3,3-8,unplayable junk.then the playable cards start to hit,a-k,j-10, and the board takes a dump.but this is just my take on ft.PokerStars on the other hand is not quite the donk fest.granted there free rolls are considerably larger, you see considerably less all ins,and for lack of better terms, the cards play more true to life to me.i guess over all PokerStars is just a better place to play for me.for what ever reason, i tend to have more confidence in my play at PokerStars, than ft.bottom line is ,i have lost what ever faith i had in ft as a reputable,er,thats a little harsh, decent poker room.of course this is just my opinion, and i could be wrong to some or mst people.but like i said its my opinion.

wouldn't you want a site with more donks? it means that you'll have a greater profit, but i guess if your after tougher competition it's a different story.
