Full Tilt Ironman challenge
Is anyone participating in the FTP ironman challenge?
I decided to get myself qualified for one of the freerolls they have so I enrolled and have been running a lot of ring games to build up enough points. When I logged on this morning all my ironman points were listed as 0 for every day. Anyone else have this problem? I emailed support but they haven't responded yet. |

Yes it's monthly. Basically you earn ironman points and depending on how many you earn you can enter a monthly freeroll.
If you click on cashier on Full Tilt Poker, theres a box at the bottom right that says My Promotions", click on that and you can see what your signed up for. Right now they are also running the 777 promotion, where as long as you are opted in, and earn 7 FT points, you are entered into a daily drawing that gives 77 people each $77. |

re: Full Tilt Ironman challenge poker
Here's the link to the promotion:
Online Poker at Full Tilt Poker - All Promotions: Iron Man Challenge The different levels and the points needed / size of the freeroll $ Bronze / 1500 / $10k Silver / 2000 / $15k Gold / 2500 / $20k Iron / 5000 / $30k You can also opt out of the freerolls and just use the ironman points to buy stuff. The number needed though seemed like it wasn't worth the effort, while the freerolls I can just put in the hours for one month and qualify. I've been running 3 tables of the $10 NLHE and I seem to average about 50 points an hour. |

Edit: I found this on the info page Qualifying for our Iron Man Challenge begins September 1st at 00:00 ET and runs until September 30th at 23:59 ET. I guess I'll have to wait for support to get back to me. |

So its a freeroll for a prize pool of ironman points, which can then be used to buy-in to a cash tournament which costs ironman points + rep to play? Thats a good idea, I remember when party poker was in the US and they had freerolls for vast amounts of player points, Ex: $2000 freeroll for 2500 player points. They were so sweet. Do any other sites have good free rolls like PP? tho this ironman thing does seem kinda fun but Its like double hard to win in both the ironman qualifyer and tourny itself... =\

It's a lot more akin to the party poker MTT's you mention, where you use the points to enter a MTT that pays out money. For those that play a lot of ring games, it's a good deal since all you have to do is opt in, it doesn't cost anything. |

Just make sure that you are opted in each month. I forgot 1 month and lost seniority...(you know..the more months your in, the more tokens you can get). I was in it for six months and ended up starting back at zero cause I forgot 1 month. I emailed support, but they said its in their policy that if you are deemed ineligible for a month you start over....argggghhhh. Damn policy and procedures!
