So, after what?...2 weeks, problem resolved. It took time and patience, and a LOT of emails back and forth with FT, but at the end of the day I must say they were kind, helpful, and when I got home from work today my entire balance from my closed account was transferred to my original (primary) account.

Along the way they helped me remember the email address to my original account (which I'd forgotten), by giving me a hint, i.e. p*p*y*y*123@yahoo.com. Then I was able to fill in the blanks, hence requesting a temporary PW for my original account, etc.

Bottom line, eventually it got fixed. I messed up because I didn't know the rules, and FT was still willing to help me out. I give them my thumbs up!

Good for you. I'm glad they helped you fix it and it shows class on your part for publicly telling the whole story. A lot of people come on here and other sites ranting and raving about how a site "screwed" them and then it turns out that either they were wrong in the first place or the site fixes it but that part gets buried.

The fact that you acknowledged your part in the problem, speaks well of you.

GG. :congrats:

Glad it worked out for you. Though slow, FTP's support is still very good at what they do and I've seen them go the extra mile to help players out.

Thank you for posting this. FTP seems to get bad coverage on CC. I've had nothing but great customer service from them.

This has reiterated what I have said in other threads. Full Tilt support does go the extra mile to help you out.

It's a MIRACLE

I have had nothing but issues with Full Tilt..I signed up with a promo code for a no deposit $50 bankroll..had never had a Full Tilt account and did all the correct things that they asked me to do..like clear my web browser history before..So I did all of that and then I proceeded to sign up with some other sites for free bankrolls..the only site that I DIDN'T get the promotion from....full tilt poker..they tell the promotion site that there is an IP conflict yet tell me that I am signed up with a rakeback promotion...I have emailed back and forth with their customer service at least a dozen times over the past 3 weeks and they have been slow and rude and contradictory everytime..I am about to close my account with them.

jackdonkey, glad to hear that worked out.

BADINTENTIONS, that sucks, but you probably used an IP address that already has a FTP account, and they were nice enough to let you have rakeback. Sucks that your having problems with support.

I have never had any problems with Full Tilt or their support, the only site I have, was Absolute Poker. Could not clear up issue through email, so they asked me for my phone number to call me. They called me at like 2 am and the dude could barely speak English. He could tell he had woke me up, and asked if he should call back tomorrow, I said yes, that would be a lot better. Same guy called back the next day at 2 am, lol. I closed my account at Absolute and never looked back.

Well, if they are going to give you rakeback instead of the free 50 dollars take the rakeback. Its worth a heck of a lot more than a one time 50 dollars.

Uh yeah. Lol, some people. I get like $50 a week in rakeback. Rake back is way better than some stupid $50 promo. Which isn't even enough for a starting bankroll.
