the guy had been going all in with everything including a 2-3 off 2-5 off so thought it was a decent enough hand too call boy was i wrong

Try to be the shover, not the caller. You are better off pushing w 94o than calling w ATo. And not just because of these specific results.

You want to have "fold equity" whereby you can win without having to show down the best hand. Making this call is fine, but when you lose you shouldn't be frustrated, but rather, should understand that you will lose about 35% of the time against a random hand (Q7o).
