Free Money For Catching Me

Okay, so I remember a thread a few months ago called free money for catching the shrog, where he offered money to catch him playing anything but 25nl. This seemed like a great way to stay disciplined, and I don't think he was ever caught.


So my biggest problem by far is bankroll management, and I am looking to put an end to that starting now. After realizing that my pokertracker graph looks like someone jumping off a cliff, I knew I needed to try something. I have about $500 left in bonuses on pokerstars that I am looking to earn, and I plan on earning it. After squandering my rolls playing 10/20 razz and some 200nl, I am going straight back to the micros.


I am only making a $100 deposit, and am going to use a 25/20 move up, move down rule except I will start at 5nl. I am only starting with a $100 deposit, because I need to really get used to using BRM no matter what.


So I will use this thread to track my progress, and as of right now i will offer a $50 reward if you catch me playing anything besides 5nl. I will anounce when I move up limits, and still offer a reward for that limit.

best of luck building your bankroll up and i hope you can stay disciplined at the stakes you play in i once had a bankroll that i built up from freerolls and wiped it out pretty quick i deposited and im more disciplined now maybe because i actually invested my own money and im doing well

ps i also be looking out for the free money by catching you but hope it doesnt come down to you being caught because you stay at the limit you say you are

sounds like a very smart idea... i've had the same problem recently with BRM i've been making 30 dollar deposits and going broke quick

...wow. Fast start, 5nl is easy but not quite that easy.

I was having the same problem, and I am now doing the same thing...bankroll management!!!

I deposited $100 on pokerstars and I will not put more than %5 of the roll into action at any given ring game. This means playing .01/.02...but, I am showing a steady profit and what I really love is the ability to play without scared money.

I think that what BRM has added to my game is the ability to make plays that I would never have made when I was terrified of getting stacked.

ok so what exactly is 5nl is that the max you can put on the table ????? or just 10x BB

WTG, what is the time you play at???

Basically whenever I don't have to study, but I normally play from 5-8 pm or midnight till like 3 or 4.

Add .25/.50 Limit to that list

Moving up to 10NL now have 27 buy ins for the level because 5NL went very well.

must say your hitting them levels very well...I wish i was so capable of not tilting :-)
