The Fold, Call or All-In Method.

So I leave my session with my bankroll balance standing at, say, $433.27. I want to sign off for the day with a nice round number so I take $3.27 to the short-handed micro tables.

My strategy is simple: Fold, check, call or raise all-in; mainly with premium hands, of course, but with the odd suited connectors, mid-pairs and perhaps the odd JQ or JK thrown in. Other marginal hands are fine as well, or even low-pairs and low connectors. I even go all-in sometimes with my lucky 7,9 ! This means you can still check and then go all in on the flop if it's favourable.

It really upsets the purists (and you get called lots of interesting names) but it's a great way to unwind at the end of a rollercoaster session. It's relaxing, there is no real pressure and it can often be lucrative. It's important not show your cards as well so as to keep them guessing.

Any comments? If I came to your table with this strategy would you be rubbing your hands in anticipation or would you be one of the name-callers?

I wouldn't have the balls to do this on other limits by the way.

I sometimes do this. Let them name call all they want, its your money you can do what you want with it.
The best ive ever done is when i took about $3 to a $10 max game and left i about 20 hands with $18!

On the micro's, I would be hard pressed to see you as playing any differently then a lot of folks who think "that's how I play at home with my two buds so of course I'll play that way online at a 9 player table".

I never take more $$ than I can throw away calling to see your set when I have TPTK because WAY too many people at the micro's think 2nd pair is worth betting your entire BR on.

On the other hand, if you play "PF lotto", I'll check "sit out" until you get bored and leave....usually with a "wake me when lotto boy hits the road"

as for name calling.... I might give you a "nh turniphead" when your 79os hits two pair from UTG.... but ONLY if that's your screenname

I love it when guys come to my micro tables all-in every hand. I don't always get their money, but someone usually does -- they rarely win. Just hope you get a big pair before anyone else. Very high EV.

all i gotta say is that no1 complains when they win ur $$$ by suckin out or u makin a stupid call. its ur money u play how u want, not that i agree to some of the calls
