Fold aces pre-flop? Imagine this situation..... you are the shortest stack in this freeroll, with only 3 big blinds. 28 players left 27 get paid. You pick up aces in the whole and every1 except 1 player who limped in folded to you in the cut-off. You can fold and wait a couple more hands because you have some hands until the blinds come back around. Or u can push all-in most likely get called by 1 or 2 players and risk your tornament life. What would you do?

I would definitely go all in. Its an interesting situation. Foldidng may be the right move if it were different. But, you have to think. This is a freeroll. 27th place is probably like a nickel. This is a tournament where you have to play to win to get a good prize. Thus, pushing all in is what you have to do.

Seems they have changed the payout structure in those. 1st was $27.00 not so long ago, and 27th was like 90 cents. With 2 bucks, one could actually play 2 Fergusons. So this case becomes more interesting. The only time it is sane to fold AA preflop is in this situation (especially in bigger buy in MTT's), or in the case of the first hand at the WSOP where everyone shoves all in to you on the BB with AA. Both cases border insanity. In this case however, in the cut off seat, you still have 5 more hands to see before the antes and blinds have totally crippled you. Are you going to get a more favorable situation in those 5 hands? Unlikely. There is no guarantee anyone at your table will take pity on you and let you walk. In fact you are the primary target at this point, players will zero in on getting you out of there. You have no real choice here. Shove!

In my opinion, you have to push because you might not get any callers and end up picking up the blinds which will allow you to play a few extra hands. Sometimes, if you typing in the chat window that you have aces will get everyone to fold if your image is a super tight.
