| Flush.... Listen to this: I'm in a money tournament with about 15 people, 2 tables (20$ buy in). I'm in the final table with 3 other people(I have the lead in chips ). I get dealt 57 off, and I'm already in bb so I check. Flop gives me 2 pair (5d, 7h, Ad). One of the other players bets 10 chips, so I sit and think for a while, but call eventually. Fourth street shows a 2c (I think), this time I raise the bet to 30. Both players call. The river shows an 8d. I bet 30 again, and the player raised the bet all in (I knew I was screwed, but I had to call). Of course he turns over a river chased flush. Sometimes I think slowplaying it isn't the way to go, I guess it depends on the situation and the players. It hurts though lol |

| You must protect against "cheap" flush draws. If you THINK that is what you are up against after your flop bet over bet the turn meaning you are making them "gamble" instead of having good odds to chase that flush. If they call so be it you have played correctly. BTW the odds say you will will that hand more than you lose. |
