are the 'fish' getting smarter?

I remember when I first started playing poker at Partypoker , I made a nice bankroll the first 2 weeks and it just continued from there. Its funny that I didn't know the game like I do now , I remember not being sure if a straight beat a flush and things like that . I played there like 7 months and I am not lying when I tell you that I made close to 10k playing mostly ring games. I had to find a new home because of the ban and since then I played at Full tilt(hated it there) , Doyle's Room and now I just play at Bodog. I have not had nearly as much success since then even thoug I'm a better player today. It got me thinking why this happened, was Partypoker that bad or are players getting better with time? Anyone else played there and what do you guys think?

I know I miss Party, there were some great fish there. They are everywhere, but there always seemed to be more there.

I don't know about Party, but I feel like Full Tilt is full of fish at the lower levels. More so than Stars at least (IMO).

jungle bodog and poker.com has alot of fish in it alot of them like to try and chase down easy way of winning on there

I miss party poker too, and really thought I would never say that when the ban came. At that time I was thinking good ridance...........

I find that not only ate there lots of fishies at the Full Tilt lower levels, they seem to suckout lots. I only started playing FT cuz they would take my DoylesRoom money and points, and so far I been way less than impressed. PS is still the place for me.

I haven't taken an IQ test lately so I'm not sure......

No I will never make as much money as that because both Doyle 's Room and Bodog has lots of fish but I am not winning like I used to . I tighten up my game alot since those days because I read a few books and well that 's what they said. Maybe I was just very lucky and hit alot of draws back then. Or maybe I should chase those draws even when I don't get the right odds and play more cards. As far as Full Tilt goes, there's very little fish there and players play too tight there even at the low limits. If you ever visit beathefish.com then you will see it is the site with the least fish,not sure what you guys are talking about .

No, internet poker's just getting riggeder

You put the winky face on there, but it is. It's getting harder and harder to win playing good solid poker, and i'm seeing the same patterns over and over again (especially in H2H play). When the fishes run out of money now, they cant come back, so they aren't going to run out of money so fast now are they?
