First UFC fighter to win a WSOP bracelet?

Alright, still too early to tell.. but Mike "Quick" Swick.. UFC welterweight fighter is currently in 10th place out of 17 left in Event #42.. the $1,500 No Limit Hold'Em event. 2,521 started this tournament 2 days ago.

I've played with him twice before on Full Tilt Poker.. dude's actually a decent player. Chatted up with him once, he's a cool guy, too.. although, I wouldn't bet on him winning.. I would still really like to see him win!

He just doubled up against Humberto Brenes.

Wow, well that explains why he is considered a "Full Tilt Pro" Anyways, thats pretty friggin sweet.

Just went out better luck next time

Michael Swick pushed for his last 745,000 from the cutoff and Thomas O'Neal also moved all in for his last 770,000 from the small blind.
Swick:

The board ran out

to see Swick fall short of the oval-shaped final table - obviously due to his presence for an octagon one - as he collects $34,748 in prizemoney.

Yeah, he took 10th, out just before the final table.. very nice run for him, though.
