| The First Tournament I ever won...was a let down LOL The first big tournament I ever won was on Ultimate Bet. It was New Year's Eve and my wife had to work so I was home with the kids instead of Partying. Anyways, I played well, and stayed away from dangerous hands, got into a run where I couldn't miss. You know that hot streak people tend to ride too long, well not me, not on that day. There was just short of 5,000 entries to the tournament and I was new to UB, so anyway I make short work of the final table and think sweet, I've got some money in my account, only to find out all I won for my 4 hours of Holdem' was a rinky dink POLO SHIRT! I was destroyed. LOL .......I still wear the shirt tho. |

| Sometimes wanting is worth more than getting. I know what you are saying about prizes. Sometimes I play in tournaments not knowing what the pay off will be. Only to find out later that I won my way into some small freeroll at a later date. Had I known this in the beginning I probably wouldn't have played. |
