First hand ever in texas holdem

A oriental friend of mine taugh me how to play the game while we selling cellphones. And he dealt me my first hand.

And lord and behold.

I for two Aces. A-A

I asked him if this was a good starting hand he laughed and told me it was the best .

Anyone else rember there first hand

I have absolutley no clue what my 1st hand was, I dont even remember where it was dealt. I think it might of been online but again im not sure of this.

if you are talking about poker in general then it was when I was a kid but I didnt play hold'em till about 2 years ago or so.

Don't remember. Started playing holdem less then a year ago. Got my husband into it, and now he is better then me-sometimes.

I still have the screen prints of my first ever game (prosperity or something like that lol).

Bill Fillmaff would be very upset you lost a lot of chips with his signature hand. Perhaps you played it incorrectly?
