First Deposit/ BR Management/ Advice Hey guys! I will be depositing for the first time on Full Tilt Poker today, Im going to go and buy 50 dollars worth of one of those all access visa cards. Now with 50 dollars, its the bare minimum u can play with the 2% and 5% BR management rules. I plan on staying away from turbo tournaments and rebuys, mostly because I dont like them and they tend to screw with ur BR =/ Im going to be playing mostly 1dollar tournaments, the daily dollar, the ferguson, and the .10 rebuy, and any 1dollar 90 person SNG...that covers my MTTs (and this will stay tru until i have a bit over 100 bucks). Then, for cash game play, Because of the 5% rule I wont be able to buyin to any table for more than 2.50. So i plan on playing 1/2c 6 person max games with either 2 dlrs or 2.50 and leaving when I have a)doubled up b)lost it c)been playing at one table for an extended period of time (lets say a 1/2hr to an hr) and im just off my starting stack, a dollar + or - And I will not play more than two tables at a time. What do you guys think about these set of rules? and any advice or suggestions? I was also thinking about the 2dlr sng sat that pays 3 places 5.50 each. Its a great sng and i used to grind it when i was starting from zero but too much variance with that large of a buyin, and i would end up going broke when my br was at around 20 bucks or so (starting from freerolls). Should I consider playing these again? (and unreg when i win) or wait until i have over a 100 bucks so it fits the 2% rule? Thanks in Advance for any comments/suggestions ![]() Last edited by D'wilius : 7th July 2009 at 5:01 PM. Reason: replaced link

Tactic seems like a good one ... Only its REALLY hard to follow that one i think. From personal experience i cant stay in my BR range for so long time but if u are dedicated more then me you will reach succes whit this plan. You should also signup whit speciall offers. Such as $$ tournaments for members or Rakeback. Those are both extremly good for your bad times! GL on this hope you dont exceed what your BR allows you too.

This is the best advice i can give you. I've turned 5 dollars into 150 playing a variety of games at stars. I would recommend you stick to only cash games until your in the profit zone. Play 2nl until you hit 60 bucks then start playing sngs, only play tournaments with your profit that you make from 2nl as well. I would use the cash you make from playing ring games or 6max cash games to fund your tournament and sng play. Then if you nail a big tournament use that money to fund you cash games. Thats the best advice i can give.
