Finishing the Year on a High

Last night I had my final live cash game for 2011. Game was 2/5 NL ring game.

I took all of the things I've learned here over the past few months and applied them with as much discipline as I could. Bought in at the right amount, selected hands well, played position well, played players according to their styles. good bet-sizing, lost the min when I was beat, made good value when I won, good reads etc.

End result after 6 hour session was being about $20 up for the night. Doesnt sound like much, but I don't think I've ever played a more solid game of poker.

A lot of the credit goes to this site and the people on it. For new people just joined, I would strongly recommend spending as much time on here learning as time permits.

Its going to be an awesome 2012........
