Finish in money in frerolls I'm a younger player and play sometimes small freerolls and if i try hard to be in the money, it works sometimes - only two times in two weeks, but the beginning is always difficult. How often do you play freerolls and finish in money (in percent, for example...)?

I play in loads of freerolls, and tbh it depends on the site. Absolute and Ultimate, I very rarely cash on, if you wanted a percentage it would be a decimal figure However I go on T6poker and make the money 60% of the time. Albeit for cents... Partypoker I average about 25% but I tend to do well in their satellites so get into the money on bigger tournies ie I've got a place in a 10K freeroll at the end of the month and so far theres only 360 qualifiers, so logically there will be about 1000 max taking part. Very good odds of making some very good money. Sites like Pokerstars, they are great fun but with 12000 taking part and no money only seats in bigger tournies, its very rare I get into the money but like Partypoker, its very good money when you get there. Bodog - Best freerolls on the web, hard to get into the money but lucrative if you do. Carbon - Joke of a freeroll. Full Tilt - Easiest to get into the money on but the prizes are crap Doyles room - A joke of a site. but get into the money and it goes up very quickly. They pay out 600 places and sometimes theres only a couple of thousand entering, so its easy to get into the money ipoker network - Hard to win. Crap prizes So in short, it depends on the site. You need to find the ones that suit you best, but heres what to look for Big starting stacks - Partypoker Long blinds - Partypoker/Fulltilt/Pokerstars Smaller fields - T6poker Big payouts - Doyles Room. Bodog Loads of donkeys - Doyles Room / Fulltilt / Pokerstars Big prize fields - Doyles room / Party poker / Bodog Pick the best and you cant go wrong.

re: Finish in money in frerolls poker try and stick to the smaller fields with good payouts. fourm freerolls like the ones here. special events like Betus 10k last sunday. was a large field but for a 10k prize pool its worth the time. cake poker 1k bankroll builder is a good one to play if you can get to the finals. you really just got to look around the internet and the poker sites for the best ones to play in. if you ask me full tilt, pokerstars and carbon freerolls are waste of time. long hours to win a few bucks, just not worth it.

I agree with kicks. Private freerolls are a great way to get better odds. I often find that the players in private freerolls are much better, and take the game more seriously. I have placed in the money three times this week. One of those was a bodog $500 , and I took 33.00. i agree that bodog does have the best non private freerolls right now. However, there is usually 4,000 entrants, and 3,700 of them are donks. In those situations I only play power poker, and I try to play in position only. I will call ace rags suited or suited connectors like j 10 and 9 10 on the button. I really think if you just make smart decisions, and play with the right odds, you will make it deep 60-70% of the time. There is nothing better than waiting for a monster and smashing a chaser in the face!!!!!!
