Fallen off the wagon

After following strict BRM for over a month I've made a mistake, late last night.
I went to a $0.50/$1.00 (or it may have been the $1/$2) limit hold em cash game online with my full bankroll ($52) and lost half of it.
Then I remembered the $28 I deposited and the month I played micro games to build it to $55, and now very quickly I was back to below what I deposited ($26).
I made another bad decision and sat down at a $0.25/$0.50 LHE table. After an hour or so I had won back $11. Today I'm back to $42 fortunately.
I'm thinking of continuing to play at this level which is a bad decision according to BRM.
Opinions on my foolishness or advice and encouragement welcome.

The whole BRM thing is good to follow if youre trying to make money, but keep in mind its also still just a game. If pretty much do that same thing often because i have a problem keeping myself from doing it, its my biggest flaw in poker. Ill place in a freeroll, got a few dollars, turn it into $100 in about a week, then get drunk or cocky and blow the entire wad. But its all in good fun.
I know its a horrible way of playing, but I just like playing poker. Thing is im good enough at it to make money, and i dont. Keep trying the with BRM deal, but dont beat the shit out of yourself if you mess up. Totally unneeded stress.

A good friend of mine has gotten, using BRM, from the 5 dollar win at full tilt, all the way to 2,400 dollars. Then he decided to buy into a table with all of it (after painfully getting it there with BRM), and lost it all.

That's not all. A year later, he won 15 bucks, and in 1 months time, 4 tabling playing BRM the whole time, he got to 4.5 thousand dollars. He then dropped all the way to 100 dollars by going into the biggest table he could find.

It's horrible. Both times he said he learned his lesson and won't do it again. I just guess sometimes you find a weak point, and fall.

It would be REALLY cool if there was an option to ask the poker site NOT TO LET YOU buy into tables above your BR. But no poker site will do this, it's contrary to their money making efforts. The bigger you play, the more they make. Wish there was software where I could ban myself going above my BR.

Listen, people are going to give u %,#'s and odds and all that crap, if ur want to play at a level u play at that level. If u want to be a brm and do right by your money do that. Pick which game u are good at and stick to it like glue. Don't worry about the money, if ur worried about the money u will lose all of it in any game u play. If it is for fun, go crazy and have fun. If it is not, follow closely. PLAY WHAT UR GOOD AT AND DON'T CHANGE UNTIL UR THE BEST AT THAT LEVEL.

Oh by the way Johnny Chan went to vegas with 300$, do u think he was worried about a band roll.

Vacations are bad. I just spent the last two weeks blowing BR at three sites. I need to go back to work so I don't play too much poker. The more I play, the worse I get, even with BR management.

QFT. It's very easy to lose a 50 dollar "bankroll" by attempting to play underroled ingames which have the potential to return more than a dollar an hour. However, do not let this discourage you from playing those limits. If you're playing to challenge yourself, and truly grow your bankroll then you must stick to the general guidelines in BR management and avoid falling victim to risking it all. If you are a casual player who is looking to play limits which interest you and have a feeling that they can be dominated, then play those. It's similar to group of college kids going to Vegas for a week vacation and playing 2-5 no limit with the 2 grand they brought with them in hopes of hitting it big. Different strokes for different folks.
