Factors involved when considering moving up levels? I hope the answer isn't "When you're ready", what factotrs do I need to take into account when considering moving up a level? Say to $10.00 STT? I'm doing OK at under $5 tables. Thanks.

First consideration would be bankroll for me. I want 100x the buy-in, so $1,000+ for $10+1 games. Consider that you don't have to make a clean jump: try playing one or two higher buy-ins per week, and slowly add more. Soon you will find you have painlessly adapted to the (no so much higher) new level of play, and are comfortable at the new limit.

Ask yourself some questions - Am I a winning player at the limit I'm currently playing? - Am I sufficiently bankrolled to move up? - Bankroll considerations aside, would I be comfortable moving up? - Would I be better off just sticking at my current level and adding more tables (seriously, if you're playing only one table, learn to multitable well at <$5s, then move up). If you're multitabling already, drop half your tables or so for a while when moving up to make the adjustment a little easier.

So, decided to have a go at $10 at Ultimatebet. 1st tourney my trip (all in) 4s lost to runner runner spade (2nd hand!) 2nd tourney my (all in) two pair 99 and 1010 lost when a Q came on the river. 3rd tourney made to heads up and I was doing well. Had a good read on the other guy. Then this happened: Stacks: posiview with 9150 vayazmer with 5850 Site: UltimateBet Flop: 8♥ 4♣ J♦ vayazmer checks. Hero bets 1200. vayazmer calls. Turn: 3♣ vayazmer bets 3600. Hero calls. River: A♣ vayazmer goes all-in for 450. Hero calls. Results: Tournament all-in showdown -- players show: Hero shows : 5♠ J♥ vayazmer shows : 8♣ 5♣ Showdown: Game No : 52101323-78 Summary: * Hand History for Game 52101323-78 Summary: vayazmer wins 11700 with flush, ace high. Anyway, won $30 which puts me $1.50 down. So not unhappy.. Any comments on this hand would be appreciated. My thoughts: raised more after flop; reraise all in after his 3600 turn bet. Oh, and I don't think he should have called my flop 1200 bet! On a side note, I did think there would be less donkey play at this level, but there was, in fact, more! All ins with A4o.. Still cheerful.... Thanks..
