Face the Ace Choice The second guy on Face the Ace, won twice. He makes $60,000 a year, and had $200,000 in his pocket. But he's getting 5-1 to try for a third win. That's good odds, because no pro is 5 times better than a guy who's decent enough to win his way onto that show. But, I'd have took the 200 large.

I didn't think the pros would be such walkovers. I mean Lindgren showed him the 5 before he had to decide to call his all-in. Howard looked like he was gonna completely run over the guy til he called the all-in with A-Q. I definitely would have walked with the 200k. He said it was about 3 years pay for him. It'll be interesting to see how the 3rd pro plays.

I'd take the money and run. Personally I'd use a portion of the money to set up a nice bankroll and try to turn it into more money. I'm not in the financial position where I could just give up 200k. Free money is free money. It's like those people on Deal or no deal. They get an offer of 300K, decide to go for the million because the odds are in their favor of getting more money and then they end up walking away with 50k or less. They get too greedy. I hope this guy gets his million, I watched the show and he looked to me like he was playing a bit scared. He got some good hands and got lucky, I don't know if his luck will hold out for the million. Take the money and be thrilled with it. If he wins the million everyone will be commenting on how he did the right thing. I would congratulate him and still think he made a mistake, too big of a risk. If he were making over a 100k a year and had a nice retirement fund set up that would be one thing, but this isn't the case. It's too risky. If he doesn't win this he gets nothing at all but a sad story to tell to his great nieces and nephews later on.

I watched it, and I think that the pros could read him so! easily. But then the pros just didn't try very hard at all. take the 200k for sure. that's so much money, who needs a possible million when you can have a guaranteed $200 000. if you already have a million, go for it, but if you're a hermit 40 year old basement dweller in your mom's house, take the money you crazy turtle.

I tend to agree with the masses...take the money and run...200K is no small chump change..a lot can be done with it..pay off debts...start a nice br to build on...put a kid or 2 thru college..buy me a nice mustang I believe he got very lucky to be in the position he is in now...take that cash n dash
