Experienced reply needed

I've been playing at Pure Play, I pay monthly to play in tournaments that have good pay outs with a lower number of players per tournament compared to the popular sites where you deposit and pay to enter. Does anyone have any help as to if this site would differ in general playing quality and accuracy of random hands dealt compared to the deposit to play each game poker sites? any response is appreciated, thanks

I just had a look, I don't understand why you would pay $24.99 per month to win play chips. It would differ in that it would be full of donks because people can play 10,000 tournaments for that money and they can't lose money apart from the $24.99 they've payed. You'd be better though, saving that $25 for, say 4 months and deposit on PS or Full Tilt. If you want to learn, play the play money games there and get familiar with the software. The accuracy of hands should be the same, but it not being so much a gambling website, more pay a monthly fee for the privilege of playing here, I would guess it may not have to adhere to the same standards as other sites like the 2 mentioned would have to.

I dont know Pure Play, but judging from what johnboy said (he is no longer in "The Waltons" btw....) I would not spend a single penny more on a site where you can only lose your money (unless you only play for fun, but play chips and poker software games are a cheaper -or free - alternative, if thats what you want). I cant make any statement about the level of play, but I can only assume it will be completely different from any real money tournament. 25$ at any major site will get you a LOT of games if you are selective, and if you lose it in a month, SO WHAT? You are losing that 25 in a month anyway. I would immediately un-subscribe and put your next money on a real money site. You can play freerolls, cash games from 1-2 cent or 2-4 depending on the site, tournys and SnGs can be as low as 10-30 cents, and different sites offer different offers, just check around.

Just as Jhonnyboy did, I went and took a look at it myself, and honestly...don't even bother with the site.
You're paying $24.99 per month to get a bankroll of $165.000 in playmoney chips, when the only way to win real money is through some freerolls they make. So, with playmoney chips all you can win is chips and all you are constantly losing is real money.

Let's say you want to play with playchips, then you can play them for free with no need to pay anything for them, just register at one of the major sites and play, they are there at your disposal for free, and if they're gone, they reload it, and once more - for free. (I think it works this way for all).

If you wanna start a small bankroll, make sure you search around the forum for posts on bankroll, probably some in the gold archive, but didn't check it.

There are many ppl starting only on freerolls till they get some dollars to start playing on the micros. Cash tables start at the 0.01/0.02 cent. Others prefer SNG/DoN/MTT and start either on the cents tournaments or on the $1. At least here you're playing for something! while on PurePlay you are playing for chips and only losing real money.

If you wanna start by depositing on a site and play for real money, make sure to check offers that might be around, for example FullTilt, many ppl didn't know at the time of signup about the 27% rakeback, but you can take advantage of it.

I've never played on PurePlay, but I'll give my thoughts on the general quality of play and accuracy of random hands dealt there. Well, the hands are random, so I believe it's the same on every site or else it would be rigged. About the quality of play, I highly suspect it's on the low end of the spectrum.

Btw 19GTX67, those tournaments you talk about with low number of players, are those the freerolls? if so, how much is usually the prizepool? and how much do they pay for each player at the final table?

thanks fletch, johnboy, and franky. the freerolls are $10-20-50-100-200-500-1000 daily.- $10-20 pays 1st place each,- $50 pays 3 places at $25-15-10.- $100 pays $50-25-15-10. - $200 pays $100-25-20-15-10-10-10-10. - $500- pays $200-100-25-25-25-25-10-10-10-10- 11th thru 16th.- $1000 pays $300-150-125-100-50-25-25-25- 11th thru 20th pays 10 plus a $5000 and a $2000 weekly at good payouts. so it's not the play chips i play for. but i can play a lot for my money and win enough to be playing for free. i just wondered if this kinda playing site might have had any known draw backs compared to the deposit as you play kind. thanks a LOT for your comments, i appreciate your time. c- ya
