| evoloution of poker ive had quiet a few talks with a lot of people about poker theory i have read a few poker books made in the past and a few more recent books but it seems like everyone either plays really tight or really aggressive at the low levels really far back in the day all the books always wrote things like wait for cards these r tells on people and all the now a days book always talk about trying to read what other people have and try to bet them off and putty much taking away from odds of folding so i am wondering do u think it would be easier to beat people way back in the day where u could bet them off way more often or now a days when more people put their money in bad? |

| I think the same holds true as it did in the past. There are some that can play poker better than others and then luck is always involved. Seems like the more you play the better your going to get. Practice usually helps in any situation. I can remember my grandmother being one hell of a card player. She was so much fun to play with and so much fun to beat as she always played to win. However, she could lose gracefully and that is always a big credit to a person. |
