ever put a bad beat by mistake

I was in a absolute poker freeroll last week and it was down to last 30 people or so ....I had 28k and change in chips .....the guy next to me goes all in and I have 2, 9 of clubs and call him ....he has more chips then me and the rest of table folds MY lovely wife picks that time to explain the hospital had called with a schedule change(I am a therapist) not paying attention I called his bet .....I suddenly realized as the others were folding my horrific mistake .....our cards get turned over and he has pocket aces......I can hear the whole table laughing at me thinking I would be dumb enough to bluff my whole stack and especially at this point in the game......the flop comes 2, 2, 9, for a full house ....turn and river were nothing or any importance .......the blinds were high and I ended up almost 70k in chips and in 3rd position ...he on the other hand had around 4k in chips and was Irate that I would call him ......I apologized several times and explained to the table but he and several others were in no mood to hear my explanation.....I could understand his ire but I was amazed that the rest of the table couldn't reason out that if you play to the final 30 out of 2000 players you would not go all in against some one when you have 2,9 ....this would not be a bluff it would normally be poker suicide....you only bluff when you are the first to bet not when you call ......

Yes been there and done that, twice in 1 game.

Pushed twice an all-in bet with a 10,4 off suit and 8,2 off suit. Praying like crazy that nobody would call either times cause it was after 2nd break when I did both of these. Basically like you, got distracted and went all-in both times. Thank goodness nobody called on both of those times.

I was about to click the check/call auto-play button when it changed to all-in.

Called it with 6T off suited. Won with two pair on the turn and river
