Etiquette...

OK GUYS!!! Regardless if you are in a cash game or even a freeroll...If you dont plan on playing hands, or its break and you leave to go do something and you are not going to be part of the hand, press sit out or away.

It's really not that hard its just very annoying when people just leave and let the timers go and get time out. Then they come back momentarily and do the same thing all over again. If you cant stay focused to playing a game chances are you wont be finishing well in it. I guess reads and strategy dosent mean much to a bunch of you out there, but betting patterns are important. It would help if you were there to watch at least some of the play at the table..Sorry if im out of line here but im just getting tired of waiting and waiting...gl guys

NO, whats really annoying is THAT guy who has 2 allins in front of him and calls both with 8s or less or AX (x being trash , 8 or less) and donks out vs AA, QQ or KK QQ and then says, " oh i was leaving anyways"...but i will be back...

I agree with you in cash games, but not in tourney, If i ever need a toilet break in poker I will wait until the longest time until i am required to get back then go. If i dont get back in time and it counts me out, you know what..... Deal with it.

If I know I'm going to be away for a while I usually do press sit out. However there are times that I am making dinner and whatever I'm doing only takes a second and somehow turns into a minute and I am not there, but that is my fault for missing my hand.

are all entitled to out time bank balance. We can only use it once and its only a minute...I often giggle when some ones counter is running down and try to think what he's doing...Running up to the toilet? or making a drink...haha. I guess im just pretty laid back..maybe you should try being happy instead of angry at every one for making you wait a few seconds.

lol theres no etiq in freerolls, play for money and you will see this problem leave. This doesnt happen to me in cash games...

I see it happen in cash games as well. Like the poster who uses the bathroom said I think player use the time bank to get in a break of thier own.

If I know I will be gone longer than one hand I will sit out in ... cash game or tourney.

But I agree with stuventus , we pay the buy in , we play the game the way we want to. I may not like people wasting time and running the blinds up .... but that's poker.
