Keep in mind that quite a few on line players, especially in FR's or low buy in games do this deliberately just to throw the less disciplined off there games. Target people based on your reads of their play, not reads of there chat. Yes it feels good to take one of these mouthy bastids out, but not as good as winning.

^^^ yup, but never the less it is fun to smoke the villiage idiot. Best way to handle these guys is simply to turn off his player chat, then play your A game. He'll yell at ya etc etc. and get madder than all git out because he's not getting a rise from you (because you can't hear him, only see others react to his banter (on the table and in chat provided you only shut his off) If he's a hard betting fool, let him bluff at ya and then run him over on the river like a Mac truck over a mouse.

re: eliminating the big mouth poker well I do cash games, but I like talking shit right back at the big mouth. I almost never chat, I'm 12-tabling after all, but every once in a while it'll be fun. This one guy the other day who was up to $200 at the 50nl table complained about a donk who he had dominated and then won. I usually respond with something like "if he's playing bad, exploit it and take his money, otherwise please shut up". Now later in the game I end up AI with an open-ended straight flush draw against his flopped set. We're both very deep, and I think I was behind 55-45. Anyway I won it, and he complained non-stop. He still had like $120 at a 50nl table but he wouldn't shut up. "How could you call with a DRAW???". I didn't feel like mentioning the fact that I was a favorite against a ton of hands that he could have and I'm the one who pushed all-in, I really didn't care. So I responded with something along the lines of "yep, I'm a donk, now exploit it, punish me and take my money". This got him kinda pissed off. So a little later, I'm still 12-tabling, not paying much attention to individual tables, raise 34 from the button, he calls from the BB. Flop comes 445, he bets, I shove (remembering the history and tilt). He calls with T5 and I win. "HOW COULD YOU RAISE PREFLOP WITH THAT GARBAGE???". lol have to say it was satisfying. He continued to ask me how I could raise preflop with 34 and justify how calling T5 was fine because he was already in the BB (I raised 4x). He stayed around with his short stack long enough to stack preflop against my KK with 58o and then he left complaining about how much of a donkey I was lol.
