Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr challenge

I've been watching some of the durrr challenge today, some really crazy hands. So far they have played more than 3500 hands. Jungleman12 is up over 633'000$, he's crushing Tom on just about every table. (Either variance or just better play)

I think Tom made the mistake of letting his opponent choose the game, if they stick to hold'em I think Jungleman will win the challenge easily.

What do you think ?

(I'm thinking about posting some updates in this thread from time to time)

Didn't take into account an earlier session they played (not sure if it was official).

over about 5200 hands, jungleman is up more than 535'000$

It's been less than 24 hours. And they are now 1/10th of the way done. Jungleman is cruising...

i've just checked it out on pokertableratings and it seems like jungleman was winning a ton of hands preflop or very small pots, also seems like jungleman was hitting everything, every time he chased a draw on a big pot he made it by the river. durrrr seemed very unlucky. will be interesting too see what happens next.

Are you kidding? 13 buy ins in a high stakes HU game with two phenomenally aggressive players isn't that much at all.

Ive been gone all summer, has this Jungleman been around for a while or is he a new online phenom like Tom, and does anyone know who it really is?

im not a dwan fan by any means, but i dont see him having any trouble with daniel.

they both have huge egos based on games with hi variance.

and they both havent been playing that long at especially at those hi levels -a few yrs?. so i guess well all just have to wait and see.

daniel probably wants this more than tom, so he can make a name for himself.

Aye I watched a bit of it on FT y.day. Over 6 tables Jungleman was crushing Dwan. Jungleman is a HU monster, Dwan ur gonna loose this one.

It's like onemorechance said - it's only 13 buyins in a heads up, big bet game and that's nothing when they're only 10% of the way through the challenge. Dwan was down about that much to Antonius at around the 15,000 hand mark in their challenge and 25K hands later he's up $2 million.

They have stopped playing, apparently Durrrr left, don't know if he said why.

According to PTR, they played 909 hands tonight with Jungleman coming out a winner for around 47k.

Overall he is up 582k over ~6100 hands.

PTR is missing a ton of hands so please stop using them and reporting it. Jungle won closer to 150 to 200K over 1K hands. plus the 518K from about ~ 5800 hands before

use highstakesdb its a lot more reliable. Its not 100% uptodate but it is better than ptr

Thanks for the tip, wonder if it was planned that they wouldn't go for a long session today, from what I read on the chat (not to be trusted either of course) Dwan quit quite abruptly

I was there and watched the games, Dwan was loosing ,they went to 4 tables and then he lost another one, pretty serious pot, after that he just left.

Nah, he said earlier that he had to go in a few minutes and stayed about 25 minutes after saying that.

Pre challenge (if I had money) I'd have bet on jungle, but right now I wish I could bet on durrrr
