Durrrr is getting whomped.
Everyones favorite pro to love (or hate) is now taking it on the chin a little more than he ever normally does. Variance, or a relative unknown?
His current nemesis is a player named Isildur1. His last three days of session look like this: $500/$1000 NLH (9-max) $-303,302.70 $500/$1000 NLH (2-max) $-642,170.75 $500/$1000 NLH (6-max) $105,802.00 $500/$1000 PLO (2-max) $-409,007.50 $500/$1000 NLH (2-max) $-448,426.75 $500/$1000 NLH (6-max) $-271,425.25 $300/$600 NLH (2-max) $-134,342.00 $300/$600 NLH (2-max) $-118,137.40 $50/ $100 PLO (6-max) $-9,282.00 $500/$1000 PLO (2-max) $-827,510.05 Of course a $3M swing is not impossible and by the time the sun comes up for Durrrr tomorrow his fortune may have changed and Isildur1 will be broke. Still it is breathtaking to watch. |

heres the thing about that. a terrible player can raise with 8-4o get lucky and win the hand. and hed be playing bad Durrr could do the same thing and have the same scenario play out but the difference is Durrr would have a different reasoning behind raising and playing the hand that would make him not a donk its all about the reasons behind what you do not that you do it |

So, who is Isildur1? Rumor from another poker forum is that Isildur1 is Todd Brunson.

There are some very good Swedish players who win a lot of money on non-American sites.
Isidur1 is probably one of them. He won a few million and decided it was time to move up, and only way to do so was to start playing at FTP. He was down 1M after 1½ week, and it didnt seem to bother him that much. IMO that makes him different from most luckseekers who try out the nose bleed games. He is now plus, but not by a bunch. 1M is still just 5 buyins at the stakes he play. |

Who @ CC has a MADD BR and is Psychotic enough to talk Durrr into meeting him/her 1/2 way for some HU fun, we can all watch? Hey, if the guys on a loosing streak, you'll need a wheel barrow to carry away his crumbs.

Hes a good player, hes better then used to be and is going through a swing that most pros go through. The focus on Durrr is mainly because hes an "online legend" and where people want to be in their career. He'll be back up soon...maybe even as we speak.

Why would you risk losing 50k just like that??? I think I would kill myself in an instant if I lost 50k , but since were in the same boat, lol....Neither of us, are playing with Durr any time soon...Last edited by naruto_miu : 10th November 2009 at 8:48 PM. Reason: Didn't finish |

I've been watching Isildur1 the last few days and he's basically owned every FT red pro he's played. The only one I've seen beat him in a session so far was Ziggy at 500/1000 NLHE. He's been killing Durrr the last 48 hours and took a large chunk from Brian Townsend at 200/400 PLO. He seems to prefer NLHE, but will play the Omaha guys too. I wish some of the other guys would buyin at these tables and make it even more interesting. Alot of the tables they've been playing are 9-man tables, but no one else has played with them. A buddy of mine said that Ivey showed up yesterday and asked Durrr if he was okay with him sitting in, but Durrr said he'd rather keep it HU.
