| Less variance on those games than in general, but also slightly less skill imo. But like anything you need plenty of buy-ins. I would go with at least 50-100 buy-ins if it was me, personally. I am keeping a wide range there to fit your level of nitiness. GL |

| 50 buyins for Double or Nothing?? Waaay to nitty. I don't even have 50 buyins for my regular SNGs. I would suggest 20 buyins is enough for the double or nothings, I have a winrate of 67% over 70 games at the moment. Small sample, I know, but it has remained consistent, winning 6-7 in ten game blocks. |

What stakes are you playing? How many games are you playing at a time? What kind of basic strategy are you playing? (Uber tight and shoving with premium holdings pre-flop? or something like that)? 67% seems good so far, good luck for the rest of the games. |

| I had been playing the regular speed ones but have moved to turbo and I play 2-3 at a time. I am not good at multi-tabling. Stakes started at $5 and have moved to $10 now. I don't think you can call my style tight but it is not loose either, somewhere in the middle. Position plays a key role in when I enter a pot as does the blind structure. No point in getting too involved in a pot when the blinds are 10/20 15/30. I watch my opponents like a hawk and find the tight passive players and steal, steal, steal when the blinds start getting higher. I loosen up my range as the blinds go up as picking up blinds is key to surviving. Hopefully I will have built a decent stack because I will have won a big pot earlier on with a big hand. Once I am over 3000 in chips, I tighten way up and only play top 15 hands. Let the others knock themselves out and fold into the money. By the way, other players see this and if you do decide to play a hand, they give you huge credit and usually fold, if they don't they have a decent hand and should be played carefully. | Sorry to divert attention from the OP. Depends on your skill level to be honest. Personally, I make sure i have a minimum of 50 buyins for any tournament I play. I'm pretty confident in SnG's but I'm also aware of variance. Remember that not even the greatest in the world can avoid a cold deck. Good luck |

| I have seen several remarks on "Double or Nothing" sit-n-go's. Im assuming that if there are 50 players the top 25 will win double their buyin, and if you take 26th or less, you win nothing. I have been looking for these Tourneys and cant seem to locate them. Can someone tell me Which poker sites are offering "D o N" and how to find them? |
