| Don't wait: Let US representatives hear your voice The link below is to the Poker Players Alliance website. I was alerted to it by a link on the Drag The Bar forum (http://www.dragthebar.com). I encourage US players to visit the PPA site and learn about how you can tell your representatives how you feel about being able to play online poker. http://www.capwiz.com/pokerplayersal...172571&type=ML |

| As I said in another post, my representative has already answered my letter to him with a few words about him not being for online poker as he is afraid that under age3 people will get their parent's credit/debit cards and play on the sites. That being the case, anyone over the legal age (different in different areas) but under 21 can get: (1) a checking account (2) debit card and in some cases (3) a credit card so that excuse does not hold water IMO. Another case of dictotorial government telling us what we can and cannot do and what is good and not good for us. Guess they are being parents to us all now as none of us know what we should and should not be doing. Am I for limited US government - you betcha. |

Did you guys get the email yesterday from the PPA regarding the idea of a 15 month blackout period while operators apply for licensesh? I wonder which cardroom will say to hell with the license just to pick up 15 months worth of Stars/FTP US players rake... |

| Current speculation is that sites offering more than just poker, like Bodog and UB/AP, will remain open. There's a great discussion going on about the proposed legislation in the Poker Rooms area. Last edited by LarkMarlow : 10th December 2010 at 6:46 PM. |
