Don't play at casinos on your real money
Playing at casino on your real money means "money losing". You can't win, and if you do then you want to win more and more and you finally lose all your money. So people, don't play at casinos, and if you do play don't lose more than you afford

So the idea is NOT to bet money when playing poker? Hmmmm, just what do want us to bet? Oh wait, its at casinos cause the idea there is they take your money. I think thats why they built them in the first place...to make money.

Casino gambling, for the vast majority of people, should be considered entertainment that you are paying to enjoy. Take what you are willing and able to spend, be disciplined and then have a ball. I usually come home breaking even or winning a small amount. Occasionally I lose, but if I had fun, then that's the price I paid. Be responsible.

When you go to the Casino and sit down at the table pull monopoly money out of your pocket like I do. I tried this at the Mirage in Las Vegas and it worked. I gave him 6 Blue fifties and He gave me $300 in chips. This was at a 2/4 limit table. The Dealers name was Sgod Rouf.

I havnt been to that many casino's, there is a bit of a lack of them in Ireland. But when i do go (about once or twice a year) myself and herself tend to treat it as a night out, and our stake that we bring usually about $200 each is for spending and gambling. Once its gone its gone, and if we are up at the end of the night its really a bonus. Its a great night !!
I did win a couple of grand on roulette a few years ago, but i spent that on a holiday ... |

Playing live at a Casino is fine as long as you pick the right games but online is bit of a problem as you say. At least at a real casino it's you against the dealer or other players though now with things like auto shufflers the odds are still against you. The only way you can get back reasonable odd's is if you go to a vip room where they still use the traditional shoe like for Blackjack. Well this is in Oz anyway.
As far as online I completely agree with you, my gf plays heaps and I've seen some crazy patterns. Like getting the jackpot twice in 2 sittings when you use a bonus code meaning your 7k may as well be play money. Or if you don't use a bonus code the never ending roller coaster between $500 and $50. I also like how some online casino's are set up so well to cash out, NOT. |

if u dont play against real people u'll never learn how 2 read tells or the person. its a balance of poker skill and people skill with some luck thrown in some where. i think playin in casino's is fun. sucks that u gotta buy your drinks here in cali ive heard of cali casinos givin away free drinks but like bigfoot ive never seen one. online poker is a great place to practice thou. but if u wanna play with the big boys sooner or later u will have to get used to casino play. cause we all have the dream of playin in the WTP or WSOP. and when my day comes theyll have 2 ball gag me or have a censor button dude on crack there. cause on a bad beat i'm know to cuss like a salior with torrets who just stubbed his toe.
