| Doing well online and then played this live game... 6-handed. $5 buy in. Winner takes most, 2nd gets his buy in back. I never had such a rut of horrible hands. I got 5 2 atleast 8 times. J2...7 2...i got alot of 2's....The guy to my left got pocket aces 5 times. I am not even exaggerating. No one else got AA but him. It was demoralizing because i couldn't even get dealt A 10, or even KQ. I lost in third place going all in (the blinds were significantly crippling, was a long game), only to have the chip leader and the other guy go all in as well. 2nd place outchipped me and won his buy in. I never got dealt such s hit hands for a whole tourney. So when you get that pocket kings or Queens. Don't take them for granted. You never know when you'll have a tourney like i described above and get absolutely no hands. |

| I contribute my online winnings mainly to the fact that I see more hands. I have played hundreds of live games and I have blown many hands because I got impatient. Live games are harder IMO soley for that reason. However, at the same time, if you are patient, and wait for the right hand, a lot of times your opponent has been waiting for your pot to become available and most opponents will play more loose the second you stay in a pot. As goes in Online, just wait for the right hand. It will come. |
