D'oh

PartyPoker gave me ten bucks today.

So I went gambling at the low end tables. I took 2 bucks and sat at a 10/20cent table.

It went well. I worked my way up to 8 dollars, within 5 or 6 hands played.

Heres where it went horrible.

I get dealt AA. Rather then get all giddy, I just checked into(i was bb) the 8 20 cent players.

Flop is dealt A(spades) 10(clubs) and 6(hearts).

I look at the flop and think, hmmm, no flush draws on the table, and an outside chance of a straight draw. I throw my 8 dollars in, trying to scoop the 1.80 on the table.

Everyone folds, except the dealer. He has twenty bucks, and has been playing like a cracked out monkey. Hes thinking. Thinking. Thinking. Calls me.

I get kind of excited. Hes got an ace I am sure. I might be doubling up.

The turn. 5 spades.

No need to panic. I still have the top hand in my opinion.

The river. 6 spades.

A bead of sweat rolls down the side of my face.

He shows 2 and 3 of spades. I lose. He wins. My chat box shows asdfkhghjhfdghfd after my forehead hits the keyboard.

Consolation? He comments, aww dude, thats lame, you totally should of had that. I stop playing and went for a smoke to kill time till the 1000K tourny I spent 2 bucks on.

I agree. I mean I've heard stories that Party can be bad, but I had no idea that they rank a nut flush over a full house. OP must have been playing Reverse Modified Implied Razzy Hold 'Em. Either that or there wasn't a 6 on the flop or the spade on the river wasn't a 6.
