Cash Transfer lets you quickly send money to Full Tilt Poker in person
by going to a MoneyGram agent. It works by you sending payment for your
deposit amount to the receiver below, and then we will verify and
collect the funds from your transfer to put in your Full Tilt Poker

You can transfer between $250 up to a maximum of $1,800. All transfers
must be in US dollars; we do not accept transfers in other currencies.
When you use Cash Transfer, you will be responsible for paying any fees

Next, visit the agent and ask for a person to person transfer form. Fill

made in sending your transfer. Any errors will result in processing

After sending your transfer, go to your Full Tilt Poker account and
enter your reference number (this will be given to you by your MoneyGram
agent) in the Cashier window by following these steps. Do not email us
your reference number:

1) Click "Make a Deposit"
2) Select "Cash Transfer" as your deposit method
3) Click "OK" and enter your 8-digit reference number and deposit amount
in the spaces provided

Once your deposit is entered, you will receive an automatic notification
saying that it is being processed. Typically it takes between 1 to 3
hours for Cash Transfers to be approved. However, please allow up to 24
hours for your transfer to be processed.

We process Cash Transfers from 10 AM to 9:30 PM ET. Deposits entered in
the Cashier window outside these times will be processed first thing in
the morning.

The above information is valid at any time. However please note receiver
names can only be used once. Please email us again for new information
every time you wish to initiate a Cash Transfer.

Those look about right if you try to go through a gram service. I did it once through Western Union and that is what I had to do.

When you WU money to Pokerstars, it goes to some dude/dudette in Costa Rica, the name and address of whom changes every calender day. That's to keep the Feds offa the case. This sounds as legit as these transactions ever get.

Prepaid Visa cards are still the way to go' much cheaper,too.

ive deposited to pokerstars using moneygram and it was done the same way

I think WU was like $15 to tranfer $100 or something like that. Not cheap but i did it awhile ago.

I just realized that on Full Tilt you can use a VISA Debit card. I get one of these free for my bank account, so I'll try that and see if my bank cries foul.

I've tried with my bank of america debit card and they cried foul.

That is not an option for US players.

Have you tried the prepaid visa card? I can't remember if its an option at FT, but I just used it at PokerStars for the reload bonus and it literally took like 3 minutes.

The Tru Card prepaid in pokerstars works for now - but I bet it won't for long. Bank of America is already blocking it - others will follow suit.
